FASHION FUTURES

With the Textile Museum of Canada as the lead organization, this collaborative community project will connect with youth from SKETCH, the AGO’s FREE After Three program, and the Toronto Public Library’s Word Out: Teen Summer Reading Program.

Fashion Futures aims to develop and test a series of shareable open source learning modules that encourage creative/critical explorations of the future of what we wear and our interactions with our environment through an interdisciplinary, hands-on approach to investigative design and knowledge-building.

Lead Organization:
Textile Museum of Canada

Project Goal:
The goal of this collaboration is to explore traditional and digital “maker” processes. Ultimately, this collaboration seeks to develop and test a series of shareable open source learning modules that encourage creative/critical explorations of the future of what we wear and our interactions with our environment through an interdisciplinary, hands-on approach to investigative design and knowledge-building.
